Diploma / qualification recognition in Spain is a long, time-consuming process because there are many steps involved. To date, no simplified procedure has been set up for people who are displaced due to the war. Therefore, the ordinary procedure must be followed through the following steps: - Any document issued abroad outside Spain must be apostilled by the governmental authority of the issuing country. - The documents must be translated by a certified translator. - The Education Ministry is the competent institution to validate studies and to get foreign diplomas or degrees legally validated in Spain.
