Once you have been granted temporary protection status (plastic card), you can apply for a monthly allowance of HUF 22,800 per month per adult and HUF 13,700 per child.

This allowance should be requested at the immigration office and the beneficiaries should register at the labour unit of the district government office and appear before that authority once in every month. Once you start working or receive a pension this financial aid ceases.

Persons under temporary protection can apply for certain family benefits, such as family support, childcare support, child-raising support, and maternity support.

The asylum authority reimburses reasonable costs upon request for persons under 21 for nursery care or primary/secondary education (e.g. travel costs, dormitory accommodation, or school meals). Official information is available at helsinki.hu .

Duna Medical Center offers free gynecological care to pregnant women. In addition, pregnant women under temporary protection are entitled to pregnancy and obstetric care free of charge.

You are covered by public health insurance and are eligible for mental health support. Mental health providers (psychologists, psychiatrists, and counselors) offer support to those affected by the Ukrainian refugee crisis at Pszi.hu . According to the Ministry of Reintegration, Ukrainians who were forced to go abroad due to the war can now send an application for the appointment or renewal of a pension by mail.

An application for the appointment (renewal) of a pension can be sent to any territorial body of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, regardless of the person's place of registration.
