Can I enter the country without a visa?
You can enter France if: • You are a citizen of Ukraine and lived in Ukraine until February 24, 2022; • You are not a citizen of Ukraine and enjoy protection (international or national equivalent) provided by the Ukrainian authorities; • You are not a citizen of Ukraine but have a valid permanent residence permit issued by the Ukrainian authorities, and you cannot return to your country of origin in a safe and long-lasting way. • You are a member of the family of a person who falls into one of the above cases (family members are: spouse, unmarried minor children and dependent parents).
Yes. The right to temporary protection have the following persons: • Citizens of Ukraine who lived on its territory until February 24, 2022; • Persons not citizens of Ukraine, and the Ukrainian authorities gave them protection (international or equivalent to national); • Family members of a person who meets first or second condition (family members are: spouse, unmarried minor children and dependent parents); • Persons not citizens of Ukraine who have a valid permanent residence permit, issued by the Ukrainian authorities and who cannot return to the country of origin.
In terms of temporary protection, you receive the same status as Ukranians. You can get a temporary residence permit (APS) with the indication "recipient of temporary protection" for a period of 6 months, with the possibility renewal for a maximum of three years if you fall under the conditions mentioned in the section above.
